Spring 2026 | The Ledger
FROM THE PRESIDENT TRUSTEE
Dear Neighbors,
Spring has finally sprung in Ledgewood! I’ve noticed more families out walking in the evenings and soon the smell of weekend barbecues will be in our community. It’s a beautiful time to be outdoors, and I’m excited to have our Ledgewood Board Trustees share some of the updates and activities happening in our community. Their volunteer contribution to our community is invaluable! Thank you Board Trustees!
We are also preparing for upcoming events, including the Ledgewood Annual Community Garage Sale to be held June 11th -14th , which will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow residents.
FROM THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW TRUSTEE
Our Ledgewood community is alive with the fresh beauty that Spring brings! Our Board members deeply appreciate all the efforts of our neighbors as they refresh and maintain their properties.
Our annual walkthrough will take place during the first two weeks of June. In accordance with our Covenants and Restrictions, we will be looking for damage or repairs needed to siding, roofs, gutters, driveways, sidewalks, lights, mailboxes, walls, and fences. In addition, we will note the appearance of lawns and landscape rocks as well as overgrown weeds or shrubs. The street view should be clear from commercial vehicles, trailers, garbage cans, wood stacks, and clutter stored on the sides of homes or garages.
Strongsville Ordinance for sidewalks abide by Federal ADA laws that specify a half inch or more variance in levels is a trip hazard. This newsletter serves as notification to all residents of their responsibility to maintain safe sidewalks for the safety of everyone.

FROM THE COMMON GROUNDS TRUSTEE
Congratulations to Brian Nary on being promoted to Maintenance Manager and meet Rick Gaul as the newest member of our maintenance team. After 8 years as Manager, Eric Schmiedlin retired in December. Brian moved up to Eric's spot and Rick was hired to complete the team. Rick is a longtime Strongsville resident and a retired carpenter. He was hired in January and began contributing immediately. Please welcome him to Ledgewood if you see him working on the property.
COMMON GROUNDS NEEDS YOUR HELP
We've recently received resident complaints regarding people riding electric bikes and off-road vehicles on Common Grounds, especially at the playground. Staff and residents have seen them riding on paths, through the creek, and in wooded areas. This is not permitted. To our knowledge, no one has called the police yet, but that will happen if this continues. Parents, please let your kids know they cannot ride bikes on Common Ground. With that said, Drive slowly through our streets. Kids are at play and families are out walking and crossing our streets.
It’s SPRING and it will soon be SUMMER – Help keep our neighborhood safe!

FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT TRUSTEE
Ledgewood continues to be a desirable place to live because of the residents and board members’ commitment to keeping up properties and amenities we can all enjoy. I encourage residents to use the clubhouse, tennis courts, basketball court, and pool this year. Have a safe and enjoyable Summer!
